The ClubGolf Helper role is ideal for anyone over the age of sixteen who wishes to get involved in coaching and developing children and young people in golf.
What will ClubGolf Helpers be able to do?
As a ClubGolf Helper, you will play a very important role in assisting a Level 1 Golf Coach to deliver safe and fun coaching sessions for children and young people at your club. Gaining experience as a ClubGolf Helper will enable you to decide whether you would like to progress your golf coaching skills by attending a Level 1 coaching course delivered by the PGA.
When can Helpers start assisting?
Before assisting in coaching sessions, you should sign the ClubGolf Helper Role Description & Agreement Form and return it to the Level 1 Golf Coach or ClubGolf Coordinator at your club. You should also attach copies of the following certificates:
• A PVG Scheme Membership
• A sportscoach UK "Safeguarding and Protecting Children" certificate.
