The sign up of the club in Cabus, near Alloa, represents a
significant landmark for the area's golf.
Alloa, Alva, Dollar, Muckhart and Tillicoultry Golf Clubs are
already signed up to ClubGolf and seeing the benefits. The addition
of Braehead means every local club is now on board with the

being introduced to golf in local schools will have better
opportunities to develop their skills through club coaching.
Braehead's junior section has been declining in recent years so
coming on board with ClubGolf will help reverse the trend.
"I have been coaching our own juniors for three years, but this
is the first time I've done ClubGolf coaching with the primary
school children," said Jamie Stevenson, Braehead's PGA Pro, who is
coaching a dozen pupils from St John's and Abercrombie Primary
School through the new venture.
"About half of the group are from non golfing families, and they
are all pretty keen and off and running. Hopefully we will
end up getting them into the club because they are the future of
